Phase VI

  Utilizing a Raytheon NXU-2 Network Extension Unit.

Connected to a Wide-Band DSL Static Address at the Residence of KA5CDJ & W5DPD the Northeast El Paso KA5CDJ (EPT) repeater was coordinated, constructed and placed on the air, with considerable assistance from Paul N5FAZ and Martin WB5LJO.

We now have reasonable Local El Paso Coverage as well as connectivity to Armadillo Intertie Inc. and Intertie Inc. in East Texas.

Once we establish a link West via JPARA we will have connectivity both East to Armadillo Inc. and Intertie Inc. but also West via JPARA to Cactus.  The final objective is to get the MAIN M.A.R.I.E. site back on the air where we can RF link from here to M.A.R.I.E. and on to Caballo Mountain in Southern New Mexico.
