The left hand building in this view from the West Side of Mount Franklin is our destination.

However, on this day we are going to be gaining access to Mount Franklin from the East Side.  The intent was to ride the Karl Wyler Tramway up to Ranger Peak (out of view to the right in this picture) and then hike the ridge line back north to our site.
